Summer Travel Grants

The College of Arts & Sciences offers awards for international travel. These awards are for independent travel abroad to specified cities and sites, not for formal programs through Education Abroad. Please complete the travel grant application . For any questions, contact the Scholarship Committee at as-scholarships@uky.edu.

Here are examples of the budget and itinerary that must be included in your application.

The Holocaust Summer Break, students travel to Germany/Amsterdam and several other cities. (Open to all A&S Majors)

Italian Renaissance; Spain: The Islamic, Judaic, Christian Encounter; French Revolution; Luther and Reformation; or Oliver Cromwell. (Open to all A&S Majors)

Please note that if you are awarded a grant, you must register either through UK Education Abroad (if you are enrolled in academic credit) or through the UK International Center’s office of International Health, Safety & Security (if you are not enrolled in academic credit) before your funding can be released.
