Fabiola Fernandez-Doig
Lecturer

My academic journey has been driven by my passion for education and my curiosity towards humanity. I earned my Ph.D. in sociolinguistics and anthropological linguistics from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. Prior to that, I attained my master's degree in Latin American and Latinx Literature at New Mexico State University, and two bachelor's degrees - one in Humanities at PUCP and the other in Education at UDEP - in Peru.

I have worked at various universities in the United States and Peru. My focus is on finding innovative ways to improve education and support my students.
