The Queen With Six Fingers: Dispelling Historical Myths with Susan Bordo

Susan Bordo is a professor in the Department of Gender and Women’s Studies at UK. On March 20th, 2012, professor Bordo will present a lecture, “The Queen with Six Fingers: Origins of Popular Myths about Anne Boleyn.” The lecture will be at 4pm in the president’s room at the UK Singletary Center for the Arts, and will address popular myths about Anne Boleyn, one of the wives of Henry XIII.

2012 Ken Freedman Outstanding Advisor Award: Jamie Wheeler

Jamie Wheeler, an A&S professional advisor, is a 2012 recipient of the University of Kentucky's Ken Freedman Outstanding Advising Award, which is given each year to one professional and one faculty adviser. Candidates for the award are nominated by UK's student body, and this is the second year in a row a professional advisor within A&S has received the honor. A&S professional advisors work with more than 300 students each, with each focusing on a particular academic community.

The Hive: Web Development with Mike Dillion
The Hive is the College of Arts & Sciences' newly unified team of both creative and technical services.
