UK A&S students and members of the UK Army ROTC participated in a 26-mile ruck march that took place in the mountains of Tennessee, hosted by the University of Tennessee Army ROTC. The march was created to honor one of UT’s alumni, 1LT Frank Walkup who was killed in Iraq when an improvised explosive device detonated near his position. The 2005 graduate was assigned to the 25th Infantry Division and was a Ranger School Graduate.
