Sean Bemis, an assistant professor in Earth and Environmental Science, studies the deformation of the tectonic plates that make up the earth’s crust. When he’s not out in the field “playing in the dirt,” as he would say, Bemis is in his renovated lab space in Slone Research Building, which is where we caught up with him for some photos.
