The University of Kentucky Office of Undergraduate Research and The Chellgren Center for Undergraduate Excellence are offering the first Virtual Showcase of Undergraduate Scholars. This event celebrates the scholarly and creative works of undergraduate researchers. The virtual showcase will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, and runs through May 1.
Among the 104 participants are 49 undergraduates in the College of Arts & Sciences. The schedule of presentations is here.
The showcase will open with a welcome message from Provost David Blackwell and the announcement of the Faculty Mentor of the Year award winners, followed by student presentations with live Q&A. This year's Virtual Showcase also features seven Campus Research Partner Spotlight presentations.
Event registration is required to join the virtual event to ensure a safe and secure presentation opportunity for our students. The link and password are the same for each day. To attend the virtual showcase, register online here. The student presentations feature a live Q&A at the end of each session over four days.
