Wesley Hough
Graduate Student, Mathematics

My primary research interests are in topological combinatorics, specifically the application of discrete Morse theory to independence, matching, and homomorphism complexes of combinatorial graphs.  I am currently studying the homomorphism complex of a chain poset mapping into a Boolean algebra with my advisor Dr. Ben Braun.

I graduated from Hanover College (Hanover, IN) in May 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics, and I earned my master’s degree in mathematics from U.K. in July 2014 under the guidance of Dr. Bert Guillou.
