My primary research interests revolve around the development and treatment of conduct problems (CP; e.g., defiance, aggression) which encompass oppositional defiant disorder and conduct disorder. I am interested in examining factors contributing to the heterogeneity seen in CP, such as the role of affect with a particular interest in callous-unemotional traits/limited prosocial emotions. I aim to use these etiological findings to refine the assessment of CP in youth and to develop personalized treatments designed to more effectively target the mechanisms underlying CP.
