Megan Maurer

I am a PhD candidate in cultural anthropology working under Dr. Kristin Monroe. I am currently writing my dissertation, which focuses on urban gardening and social reproduction in Michigan.

I completed my BA in Anthropology at Kenyon College, where I studied participation in local farmers' markets. My interest in urban gardening and Michigan emerged during my work as a school garden program coordinator in the state.
