EmiLee Smart is a PhD Candidate, and instructor at the University of Kentucky. She completed her undergraduate in English at Idaho State University. She uses her knowledge to analyze documents from and about the Supreme Court to better understand how judges make decisions. EmiLee specifically focuses on the Supreme Court's use of the Shadow docket.
